The PA Farm Show starts Saturday. But do you know what the building is used for the rest of the year?

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — The PA Farm Show Complex is known for hosting the annual PA Farm Show, but the complex is used throughout the year for all kinds of events with more than 1 million square feet of indoor floor space.

Only in PA – President Eisenhower kept a show herd of black Angus cattle

At his Gettysburg farm, President Eisenhower kept a show herd of black Angus cattle that he would enter into livestock shows. Over the years, his livestock won championships at multiple shows including the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. The ribbons from these championships are currently displayed in the show barn. Additionally, a herd of Angus cattle can still be seen grazing in the pastures today.
